On Wednesday 15 and Thursday 16 May 2019, Ceramiche Piemme will be presenting Shades by Gordon Guillaumier, a ceramic collection with artistic inspiration, to the professionals visiting Architect@Work Zurich (Messe Zürich - Hall 3 and Hall 4, Stand 184). Shades indeed replicates the delicate and imperfect nature of brushmarks, and the overlapping colours create unique nuances which combine with the five concrete-effect base tones.
Four types of decoration, each expressed in five tones ranging from blue, light blue and baby blue to white and gold, all typical of the watercolour technique.

We chose the attendees of Architect@Work Zurich to be the first to see one of our most representative collections", explains Davide Colli, Chief Operating Officer of Ceramiche Piemme. "Shades combines modernity and tradition, and expresses all the technology and research which the company is now able to offer with extremely contemporary aesthetic results."
The meeting of modernity and tradition is also expressed through the choice of sizes: in addition to the modern 60X60 cm and 60X120 cm, Ceramiche Piemme offers decorated hexagon tiles reminiscent of the traditional cement tiles, as well as other small-sized (20X20 cm) tiles typical of the majolica technique.

Ceramic is made from natural clay and is a completely recyclable material; once installed, it is hygienic, does not absorb dirt or bacteria and is odourless. Ceramic does not burn and it does not emit any harmful substances, even in the event of a fire; ceramic is non-absorbent, it does not discolour when exposed to sunlight, it is frost-resistant and hard-wearing in residential and public spaces. Best choose ceramic. Best choose Ceramiche Piemme.
