The Astral Tower, one of the most prestigious hotels not only in Sydney but perhaps in the whole of Australia, has chosen Ceramiche Piemme to furnish its bathrooms. The interior design firm Lombard & Jack in Melbourne appreciated the brightness and texture of the Geostone collection in White.

More than 7,600 square metres of porcelain stoneware surface has been installed. The tiles come in various high quality sizes that perfectly recreate the effect of sedimentary rocks, while guaranteeing ease of installation and resistance over time, ease of maintenance and important advantages in terms of sustainability.
The most advanced digital printing technologies make it possible to combine the great colour uniformity with a variety of veins that make each individual slab unique. Just like in nature, when cutting stones. The collection also includes a 3D structure (Velvet) with high surface grip, ideal for outdoor and wet areas.

The project is part of the award-winning The Star complex: a skyscraper designed by FJMT, Francis-Jones Morehen Thorp with more than 20 restaurants, bars, a luxurious spa, disco, shopping mall and casino. The facility is connected to the Star Event Centre and is close to Darling Harbour, the Sydney International Convention Centre and the Sydney CBD Central Business District.

The Lombard & Jack firm, with over 20 years of experience, specialises in the design, documentation and implementation of large-scale commercial projects. (
