Bologna – A three-day immersive event has just wrapped up, reshaping the way we talk about design and Italian excellence. Thanks to the collaboration between Ceramiche Piemme and FREE EVENT, the exhibition space turned into an emotional stage that blended art, history, live performance and social messages in a completely new format.
Spectacular installations, live shows and digital experiences guided visitors through a unique sensory path, with Ceramiche Piemme’s new collections in the spotlight. Every detail was designed to highlight the Italian ceramic tradition, reimagined in a contemporary way. It was an immersive journey where design met culture, craftsmanship and the local territory – with the goal of creating a real connection between people and products.
The program also featured three live concerts with ceramic projections that transformed surfaces into striking visual backdrops. Later, a live painting performance brought to life an evolving artwork on a ceramic slab, later destined for charity.
Detail and customer focus
Throughout the project, attention to detail and the desire to create a memorable experience for visitors were key. Piemme ceramic surfaces are not just about quality and style – they carry emotions, stories and values that make every product unique. That’s why the space was designed not only to showcase, but to engage and welcome.
Inclusion and human value
One of the most meaningful moments was the “Tortellante” initiative: a therapeutic workshop where young people and adults on the autism spectrum learn how to make fresh handmade pasta. Guests had the chance to taste one of Italy’s most iconic dishes, adding a human and inclusive dimension to the event.
A new way to tell design stories
With this project, Ceramiche Piemme and FREE EVENT introduced a new way of communicating design: not just an exhibition, but an experience. A format meant to grow, enhancing the uniqueness of each product through engaging and emotional storytelling – designed to leave a lasting impression.
